VISTA How to remove registry entry ... WINDOWSNT/\CURRENTVERSION\NETWORKL IST
Dear All, Hi, After deinstall of the NORMAN Security Suite with an deinstall Script from NORMANN, I am not be able anymore to sign in the Internet with a Surfstick from O2. In the HKEY_LOCAL-MASCHINE-Software-MS-WINNT-CURRENTVERSION-NETWORKLIST, I do have some entries from Norman with an IP Adress "192.228.79.201" and I guess that is the root of my problems. My question, how do can I remove this Entry without destroying the VISTA REGISTRY Sorry for my English as I am not an native speaker Thanks for help, Gerhard

To remove a registry entry, you can just leave it blank. This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties or guarantees , and confers no rights.

Hi Gerhard, It is not recommended to play with the registry if you are not familar with the registry path. Even though you know what you are doing, it is suggested to backup the registry first. Right click the registry on the left panel and select Export. Please refer to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/256986. Based on the situation described in this thread, I would suggest uninstall\reinstall the related software of Surfstick and contact the hardware manufacture and check if there is any driver update. Regards,Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. This can be beneficial to other community members reading the thread.
